Downburst winds estimated at 100 mph caused significant damage along a 2 mile wide by 5 mile long path. Most of the damage occurred in the Royalton, White Lake and Baldwin Mills areas. Twenty-two homes and four barns sustained damage and 40 acres of crops were destroyed. Thousands of trees, covering at least 40 acres of land, were snapped off or uprooted.
