Ten to 16 inches of rain fell during the month. The 12 inchesmeasured at Elkins was the most on record for any July andthe second wettest of any month. Kumbrabow State Forestmeasured 14.9 inches. An unofficial spotter near Montrosereported a 16 total. Normal monthly rainfall is 4.5 to 5.5 inches.
