Heavy rainfall in portions of southwest and south-central Virginia and northwest North Carolina on the 9th and 10th resulted in minor flooding on the Roanoke and Dan Rivers.The Roanoke River crested 1 foot above flood stage at Randolph at 2100 EST on the 11th.The Dan River crested 1 foot above flood stage at Danville at 0700 EST on the 11th, just over flood stage at Paces at 1700 EST on the 11th, and 3.5 feet above flood stage at South Boston at 0345 EST on the 12th.
