Deaths and injuries are direct and indirect together, as the offices filed them. Damage is property and crops in the dollars of the year, not adjusted for inflation, and only where an office estimated it.

One final day of severe weather occurred this May in Utah. Scatterd strong thunderstorms developed once again in the extremely unstable airmass over the state. A severe thunderstorm moved through the southern Salt Lake Valley during the early afternoon hours. The Riverton Fire Department reported receiving 1" diameter hail from that storm. No damage was reported however.
