The second line of thunderstorms produced 2 more severe thunderstorms as it moved through the Wasatch Front. In Utah County, a severe thunderstorm produced a microburst wind gust of 85 mph (74 kts) at the Brigham Young University weather tower.

The second line of thunderstorms produced 2 more severe thunderstorms as it moved through the Wasatch Front. In Utah County, a severe thunderstorm produced a microburst wind gust of 85 mph (74 kts) at the Brigham Young University weather tower. This same wind gust was measured in North Orem by a weather spotter at 60 mph (52 kts). Large trees were uprooted. Several power outages occurred due to downed power lines.
