There were several occurrances of severe weather on the South Plains on the 30th. The Morton VFD reported up to golfball-size hail west of Morton while the Lamb County Sheriff's Office reported quarter-size hail in Sudan. The public reported one-inch diameter hail southeast of Littlefield in the morning. Later that afternoon, the public reported hail in Wolfforth and Lubbock.
