A microburst over a southeast Lubbock county airport caused an estimated $100,000 in damages at a hangar/storage building. The structure was a complete loss, and most of its contents (several cars, a bus, one plane) were damaged. Winds were likely marginally severe in this case (nothing else in the area was damaged), and the type of structure ("open-T" hangar without doors) may have also contributed to the damage.
