Thunderstorms across the southwest and south-central Texas panhandle produced damaging winds and localized flooding as reported by media storm chasers and law enforcement agency. Highway 168 between Buffalo Lake and Umbarger was closed due to flash flooding. North of Umbarger thunderstorm winds damaged several outbuildings, a grainery, power lines and blew over a rock fence.
