A total of 8 to 10 inches of rain with Hurricane FRAN caused the Crabtree Creek to reach the highest level since improvements to the drainage basin were made and the second highest level on record.Severe flooding of streets, homes, and businesses near the creek occurred overnight and well into the morning.
