Severe thunderstorms caused scattered pockets of wind damage throughout the county. Uprooted trees fell on and damaged houses on Grand Avenue and High Street in Hackettstown. Grand Avenue was also closed because of the downed trees. In Franklin Township, a small vestibule near the rear of the municipal building was severely damaged. A 50-foot-long steel trim was torn away from another building. Downed trees and power lines littered New Jersey State Route 57. In Blairstown, several trees were uprooted.
