A severe thunderstorm tore down a few trees and power lines in Somerville and Bridgewater, caused structural damage at the former Somerville Iron Works and caused power outages. U.S. Routes 202 and 206 were closed for about 45 minutes in Bridgewater because of a downed tree. A downed limb closed East Main Street in Somerville.
