Large hail and frequent lightning occurred from four miles westof Alliance to Alliance. In that area, many cars were damaged. House windows were broken and some roofs were damaged as well. Lightning caused power to be out for an hour in about one third of Alliance. Lightning also struck a few trees, causing some damage.
