WIND GUSTS OF AROUND 50 MPH BLEW THE ROOF OFF OF A GREERS GROCERY STORE IN WIGGINS. THE ROOF WAS BLOWN INTO THE PARKING LOT AND DAMAGED SEVERAL VEHICLES. IT APPEARED THAT THE WIND GOT UP UNDER PART OF THE ROOF THAT WAS NEVER FINISHED WHEN A NEW ROOF WAS PUT ON A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO. THE WIND JUST PICKED THE ROOF UP AND PUT IT IN THE PARKING LOT. NOTHING ELSE WAS DAMAGED IN THE AREA. FIVE PEOPLE SUFFERED MINOR INJURIES.
