A SOUTHWEST FLOW LAKE EFFECT SNOW EVENT BEGAN DURING THE EARLY MORNING HOURS OF THE 18TH AND CONTINUED INTO THE MORNING OF THE 19TH. A PERSISTENT DOMINANT SNOWBAND DEVELOPED ACROSS LAKE MICHIGAN. THE SNOWBAND EXTENDED INLAND ACROSS FAR SOUTHEAST PORTIONS OF THE COUNTY WITH LOCALIZED ACCUMULATIONS OF 12 TO 18 INCHES REPORTED NEAR THE TOWN OF STALWART.
