A severe thunderstorm tracked near the north coast of Lake Saint Clair during mid-afternoon on the 20th, resulting in a swath of wind damage. The most damage was done in the town of New Baltimore, in Macomb county, where damage to trees and powerlines was widespread.

A severe thunderstorm tracked near the north coast of Lake Saint Clair during mid-afternoon on the 20th, resulting in a swath of wind damage. The most damage was done in the town of New Baltimore, in Macomb county, where damage to trees and powerlines was widespread. Falling tree branches damaged two parked cars, and a falling tree did an estimated 20,000 dollars of damage to one house. Several other houses sustained minor damage. Golfball-sized hail was also reported.
