Early morning thunderstorms brought several lightning strikes and damaging winds to Martha's Vineyard and the outer portion of Cape Cod. A weather spotter reported numerous tree limbs blown down on Martha's Vineyard.

Early morning thunderstorms brought several lightning strikes and damaging winds to Martha's Vineyard and the outer portion of Cape Cod. A weather spotter reported numerous tree limbs blown down on Martha's Vineyard. On outer Cape Cod, numerous tree limbs were blown down in Orleans. Power lines were down across Route 6 in Eastham. Hail was reported in Harwich and power outages occurred in Brewster. A house was hit by lightning in Dennis.
