Lightning Strike in Maryland, July 8, 1996
Several trees were struck by lightning, and a home on Allendale Road which was also struck had its ceiling collapse. Numerous traffic lights were temporarily knocked out as a result of the storm.

Several trees were struck by lightning, and a home on Allendale Road which was also struck had its ceiling collapse. Numerous traffic lights were temporarily knocked out as a result of the storm. Baltimore Gas and Electric reported 23,000 customers without power in the metropolitan area.
