An extended period of strong thunderstorm winds downed numerous large trees, tree limbs and power lines. Strong winds also snapped several power poles and knocked down several road signs. Strong winds tore the roof off one building and layed it onto an adjacent street. A window was shattered in another building. At the fair grounds a trailer was flipped over.
