Many roads were covered with water, including one that was completely washed out. Several inches of rain fell in a short time. This flash flood event combined with an event in late April resulted in substantial economic loss. Flooding of the Wabash River also contributed to the damage. The damage amount listed above is an estimate for all the flooding that took place.
