The Ohio River once again exceeded flood stage late in the month. Two heavy precipitation events on already saturated ground from the 11th through the 19th caused secondary crests to occur between the 19th and 22nd.

The Ohio River once again exceeded flood stage late in the month. Two heavy precipitation events on already saturated ground from the 11th through the 19th caused secondary crests to occur between the 19th and 22nd. At Newburgh Lock and Dam, the Ohio crested a foot above the 38-foot flood stage on the 20th. It was only above flood stage from the 19th to 21st. Minor flooding of agricultural bottomlands occurred.
