Thunderstorms with frequent lightning and strong wind set off several fires and downed powerlines. Wind gusting to 60 miles per hour downed lines in Meridian causing a power outage. Ligtning and wind started 12 fires in Canyon county, 6-7 fires in Payette county, and 13 fires in Gem county. Damage amounts were unavailable.
