A short lived tornado caused moderate roof damage to three mobile homes and minor damage to twelve mobile homes at the Fair Lanes Acres Mobile Home Park at the 400 block of 49th Avenue in Bradenton.Several carports in the mobile home park were severely damaged or destroyed by the brief touchdown. A few eyewitnesses stated that the mini-tornado appeared white in appearance and produced a sound similar to a jet aircraft.
