Moist upslope flow aided in the development of strong thunderstorms along the front range on the 24th. Heavy rainfall was the main threat from these storms, and 1/2 to 2 1/2 inches of rain fell between 600 pm MDT and 830 pm MDT over southern and southwestwern El Paso county and far northern Pueblo county.
