Large hail, damaging thunderstorm winds and heavy rain resulted in substantial crop loss in Morgan County. The Weldona area was hardest hit by the storms. Some of the crops in Weldona were completely destroyed. Damage estimates were expected to be anywhere from $500,000 to $1.0 million.
