A frontal low moved northeastward from the northcentral Pacific...into the eastern Aleutians late Sunday and early Monday...dragging a pre-exisiting frontal system to a north-south line through Dutch Harbor late Monday. Brisk southerly winds developed ahead of the front Monday with gusts reaching 68 mph at Cold Bay, 48 mph at Port Heiden and 61 mph at Cape Newenham.
