A deepening low moved east northeast into the southern Bering...about 240 miles north of Amchitka as a 980mb center at 10 pm Sunday. Unofficial wind gusts between 40 and 60 mph were reported by several ships along the Aleutian chain. The low then curved east southeast and began to weaken south of Dutch Harbor Tuesday...July 9th. The event lasted from July 7-9 and affected the Bristol Bay Coast, the Alaska Peninsula and Aleutian chain.
