An apparent microburst struck Decatur in northwest Morgan County causing major damage to several stores. The roof was blown off an auto parts store and the north wall of a clothing store was collapsed. Several other businesses sustained minor damage to roofs and walls. Power lines and a few trees were also blown down. Wind was estimated to be in excess of 70 mph.
