Tornado in Alabama, December 1, 1996
A small tornado touched down on the north side of Alexander City downing trees and power lines in a predominantly residential section. Several structures sustained damage though most of it was fairly minor.

A small tornado touched down on the north side of Alexander City downing trees and power lines in a predominantly residential section. Several structures sustained damage though most of it was fairly minor. Reports indicated that two single-family homes sustained major damage with minor damage to an additional nine homes.
