Rains of around ten inches caused many roads to become impassable in the south central part of Baldwin county. People living along the Fish River were the hardest hit. The roads started flooding around 900 pm on Sunday evening and continued until 500 am Monday morning. High water cut a 7-foot gap across County Road 48 near Alabama 59. County Road 48 had to also be closed east of Fairhope. About a mile section of Main Street in Daphne had to be closed due to a washout. A couple of roads in the Robertsdale area had to also be closed due to washouts. Ten County bridges were still closed due to high water late Monday.
