A severe thunderstorm dropped hail in Tooele for a short time. The same storm produced a lightning injury involving an 18-year-old female. The lightning bolt knocked her to the ground and stopped her breathing. She was later diagnosed with two broken ear drums. Later in the evening, one inch diameter hail fell in Yost, and outflow winds gusted to 70 mph in Duchesne.
