Around the time a rain foot was observed from the Midland National Weather Service Office, downburst winds threw a mobile home into the middle of the road, killing a couple of pets inside. The roof was also torn off, which tore out about 600 feet of telephone cable. A nearby convenience store had its wall pushed in by the wind.
