Remnants of Hurricane Allison moved through South Carolina causing heavy rains, some flooding and minor wind damage. The wind tore off part of the roof of a mobile home in Early Branch, Hampton County. In Georgetown County heavy rains caused street flooding. A waterspout moved onshore at Hilton Head causing damage at Port Royal Plaza and Triangle Square where BiLo Grocery Store lost its roof, an office building under construction was destroyed, 35 parked cars were damaged, and a door at Nana's Place Child Care Center was blown off.
