Funnel clouds were spotted on the Delaware River near the Burlington/Bristol Bridge. One funnel later touched down and became a tornado in Chesterfield.
,,,,,,,,Thunderstorm Winds Tennis ball-size hail fell in Florence. The hail damaged vehicles traveling along Interstate 295. The severe thunderstorm also uprooted trees, one which blocked three lanes of traffic on Interstate 295.
Hail was reported throughout a large portion of Hamilton Township.
,,,,,,,,Hail (1.75) The same thunderstorm that produced the Norristown tornado and funnel clouds over the Burlington Bristol Bridge dropped another tornado on Chesterfield Township. The tornado (F1) touched down near the intersection of Old York and Bordentown-Chesterfield Road (County Road 528). The tornado paralleled Bordentown-Chesterfield Road for most of its lifetime. Four houses suffered damage from both the tornado and the hail. The remaining damage was toppled trees, twisted limbs and downed power lines. No injuries were reported.
