When: July 10, 5:00 PM PDT to 6:30 PM PDT
Where: Nvz006 County, Northeast Nevada
Measured: 75 kt (86 mph)

A wind gust of 75 kts (86 mph) was reported at the Federal Aviation Administration tower in Elko during a thunderstorm. Half-inch hail also fell in this storm. Storm damage included windows blown out in rental cars at the Elko Airport, large tree limbs blown off trees, some billboards blown over and road signs tilted along the Mountain City Highway. The storm also caused widespread power outages.
