Numerous trees, power poles, and power lines were blown down in Paris. One tree fell onto a house in Paris and another one fell onto a cabin in the Twin Lakes area two miles north of Paris, causing minor damage to both. Also, several metal sheds, shed doors, and siding on some homes were damaged. No damage estimate was available.

Thunderstorm winds damaged two barns and blew part of the roof off of a mall, causing damage to five buisnesses. Also, several downed trees damaged two homes and numerous power lines were blown down. Numerous trees were blown down and several windows were broken by flying debris at Eastern Illinois University. Damage was estimated around $200 thousand.

A large tree was blown onto a house one mile northeast of El Paso, causing minor damage. A barn and corn bin were blown over, killing seven goats, and numerous large tree limbs were blown off as a severe thunderstorm moved across Roanoke. No damage estimate was available.

Numerous large trees, tree limbs, and power lines were blown down. One large tree fell onto a house and a truck. The house had minor damage and the truck was smashed. One camper was damaged by a fallen tree at a Lake Shelbyville Recreation site two miles northeast of Shelbyville. No injuries were reported. An electrical wind generator tower was damaged just north of Shelbyville near Route 128, where a farmer was struck by lightning while working on a metal shed. He was uninjured by the strike.
