Thunderstorm winds estimated at 100 miles an hour destroyed 1 mobile home and 2 poultry barns 1.5 miles northwest of Gentry, and mobile homes were damaged and trees were blown down by strong thunderstorm winds 4 miles west of Gentry. Numerous trees were blown down in Gentry by 65 mile an hour winds, and several houses in Gentry received major roof damage. Strong thunderstorm winds blew a tree down onto a house in Pea Ridge, and blew down a power line 6 miles north of Eureka Springs. Dime size hail fell at several locations in northwest Arkansas, and 1 man was injured in Centerton when he was struck by lightning.
