Thunderstorm winds knocked down trees in the Quiet Harbor Subdivision in the northern part of the county. A chimney was ripped off a new home on Greensprings Drive in the Hamptom Oaks Subdivision. Two other homes lost some siding and one home's roof was damaged when a tree fell on it.
Thunderstorm winds downed a couple dozen trees and caused minor damage to several buildings on Quantico Marine Corps Base.
