Thunderstorm winds blew down a tree and a power pole in Electra, blew down a civil defense siren and fences, and broke off large tree limbs in Burkburnett, destroyed a storage building on the south side of Burkburnett, and knocked down several power poles, utility lines, and trees in Wichita Falls. Lightning hit an automobile just south of Burkburnett, injuring both occupants. Several chunks of pavement were broke loose and damage to the automobile was estimated at $1,000.
