Severe thunderstorms moved across eastern New York ahead of a warm front during the afternoon and evening hours of the 13th of June. Thunderstorm winds downed trees and powerlines and large hail was also reported with some thunderstorms. The hardest hit area was Lisle in Broome County where a 40-foot section of roof was blown off a mobile home. In addition golfball size hail was reported in Apalachin in Tioga County and Ross Corners in Broome County.
