A tornado touched down along Highway 32 southwest of Salem and moved southeast. One home sustained substantial window and moderate roof damage. A mobile home was completely destroyed while a second received roof and window damage. Two churches along the track sustained minor damage with numerous trees uprooted or sheared off. Two people sustained minor injuries.
