  1. 39.61 ftFlood of record. September 2011. Over 90 percent of Owego was inundated by deep flood waters.
  2. 36.00 ftFlooding inundates Route 17C and spreads over to the east side of Owego along E. Front Street and E. Main Street. The west side of Owego is inundated past Paige and Franklin Streets.
  3. 35.90 ftThis was the flood level of the June 2006 flood.
  4. 35.00 ftWidespread flooding occurs in Owego to the west of Route 96. Route 17C along 5th Avenue floods.
  5. 33.00 ftMajor flood stage. Flood waters cut off McMaster Street around Elm and Temple Streets. Extensive basement to first floor flooding occurs along the south side of Front Street and 5th Avenue in Owego.

  9. 31.00 ftFlooding leaks over portions of Canal, Water, River and Williams Streets to Route 17C behind the Price Chopper. Basement flooding increases between Hickories Park and Downtown, including near the Owego Walk-In Health Care building. The Fairgrouds are inundated.
  10. 30.00 ftFlood stage. Backyards of homes and businesses right along the northern edge of the river begin to flood. Hickories Park floods. Flood waters back up along Owego Creek into the Fairgrounds and portions of Route 96.
  11. 29.00 ftWater begins creeping into the backyards of properties along Rt. 17C and 5th Avenue. Owego Creek begins backing up and spreading toward the Fairgrounds.
  12. 26.50 ftWater rises into the agricultural floodway along the river. The Owego River Walk floods as well as portions of Hickories Park nearest the river.
