Brule Creek near Richland

1. 1134.0 ftWater goes over Highway 50 just east of Highway 11 and overtops the bridge. At least a couple of houses are flooded or in danger of flooding. The bridges on 478th, CR19/477th, and 476th are all overtopped.
2. 1132.5 ftSD Highway 50/11 north of the junction of the two begins to flood. CR19/477th Ave near 320th begins to flood. Several outbuildings are in danger of flooding.
3. 1130.0 ft476th Ave near 316th St is flooded.
4. 1128.5 ft320th St east of the bridge may begin to flood. If the Big Sioux River is also in flood, backwater up Brule Creek can begin to have travel impacts in the Richland area that may not be fully capture by the Brule Creek gauge.
5. 1127.0 ftCrop and pasture land begin to flood.
6. 1125.0 ftLow lying areas along the creek are flooded.
