After the earthquake that rocked the Solok Selatan region, 48 people were injured and 343 houses were damaged. Until now, the local government, TNI, National Police and local work partners have continued to make emergency response efforts.
An earthquake with a magnitude of 5 occurred on Thursday morning (28/2) at 06:27 local time. The West Sumatra Province Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) informed that in addition to injuries and damage to housing units, the earthquake also caused damage to school facilities, worship and health.
The impact of the earthquake included 3 sub-districts, namely the Sangir Balal Janggo District (Nagari Sungai Turang, Kunyit Barat River, Talunan Maju), Sangir Batang hari District (Nagari Ranah Pantai Cermin), and Sangir Jujuan District (Nagari Lubuk Malako).
