The Maluku Province BPBD Operations Control Center reported some damage caused by the quake. Damage to the house became seriously damaged after being rocked in the earthquake last September 26 2019. A school was identified as heavily damaged in the Perumnas area, Ambon City. In addition, damage was also found in the Passo music building, Ambon Bay District, the Nania RKSD IGD building and a shopping center. Significant damage occurred at several points due to shocks from the shallow epicenter and on land. While the victims, one person died in the Passo region and 2 people were injured.
