Four people killed and more than 230 buildings damaged in five regions, including Magway, Mandalay, Rakhine State and Sagaing. Ancient monuments were damaged in the Bagan area. Felt (V) at Pakokku and (IV) at Mandalay, Pyinmana and Sittwe. Also felt (V) at Bara Bazar and (IV) at Ambassa, Bhubaneshwar, Chakdaha, Kolkata and Raniganj, India. Felt (IV) at Chittagong, Dhaka and Tungi, Bangladesh. Felt (III) at Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pak Kret and Phra Pradaeng, Thailand. 3 killed including two young girls that died when a pagoda collapsed on a river bank in Yenangyaung, Myanmar. According to local MP Han Zaw Win, there was one fatality at Myanmar's Magway region, where the quake struck. "A 22-year-old man was killed when a nearby building collapsed during the earthquake,". Additionally 20 were injured and 66 stupas in Bagan damaged. (Reference #11596)
