Slight damages in two villages (Sarkhun and Ghandhad) 25 km NNE of Bandar- Abbas; at Sarkhun two concrete pumphouses were destroyed, as well as most of the mud-brick houses; 7 persons were killed and 200 injured. Moinfar [23] assigns intensity VI-VII to the epicentral area, intensity VI to Genu and intensity V to VI to Bandar-Abbas, where there was slight damage to some buildings. (reference #1167)
