February 193 B.C., Lintao, Gansu Province, 35.4 N, 103.9 E, magnitude 6-7. An earthquake occurred in Longxi Prefecture. More than 400 families lay trapped beneath the wreckage.
Note: At that time, Longxi Prefecture covered an extensive
area including the present-day Lintao (the seat of local government), Linxia, Lintan, Mimdan,Weiyuan, Tianshui and Qingshui Counties. Epicenter not quite certain. (reference #3939)
