On April 27, 1928, at 15:34, a strong aftershock of the previous [April 9, 1927] earthquake occurred, affecting the mountain region of Esquilaya. A strong shock was reported felt at Macusani. It was felt weakly at La Paz, Bolivia.
The San Calixto Observatory recorded some 200 aftershocks coming from the perturbed region since 9 April. (reference #1111)
