A part of Jiangsu Province was affected.

Yangzhou: Many houses collapsed.

Ganyu: Some houses collapsed.

Furring: One or two shabby houses collapsed.

Zhenjiang: Three rooms of a Buddhist nunnery outside the South Gate fell down. The gate of Dongyue Temple in Dongxiang also toppled under shaking.

Changzhou: An old house outside the city collapsed.

Rugao: Shabby houses were tilted by shaking. Old houses in Dongcheng Zhen collapsed or tilted.

Hai'an: Some of the shabby houses in Jiaoxie Zhen

collapsed under shaking.

The shock was felt at Songjiang, Danyang, Suzhou; Gaoyou, Lube, Nanjing, Jintan, Wuxi, Zhangyan (south of Jinshan), Fengjing, Shanghai, Baoshan; Jiading, Qingpu, Nanhui, Taizhou, Xinghua, Huaiyin (Qingjiang city), Dafeng, Yancheng, and Dontai in Jiangsu Province; Nanxun Town) Xincheng Town (southwest ofJiaxing), Jiaxing, Ningbo, Wuzhen, Zhejiang Province; ]uxian, Linyi), and Mengyin, in Shandong Province; Wuhe in Anhui Province.
