On May 25, 1907 23:52 local time [May 25 15:32 UTC] in Northern Luzon a very violent earthquake (intensity VIII) whose center was in the northern part of the Central Cordillera (Mountain Province). It did considerable damage in the Provinces of Ilocos Norte and Cagayan. The central part of the epicentral region, where the effects must have been more severe, is inhabited exclusively by wild tribes. No aftershocks have been recorded. (reference #1072)
